Transitional Housing: A Stepping Stone to Independence
Our Transitional Housing program offers temporary accommodation and support to individuals and families on the housing register with an urgent need for a home. We understand that life can be unpredictable, and we're here to help you regain your footing. We'll work with you to develop a personalised plan to achieve your goals and transition to more permanent housing.
Who is eligible?
Individuals and families on the housing register with an urgent need.
A strong desire to live independently and willingness to work towards that goal (this may include employment or seeking employment).
For those leaving domestic abuse situations, a commitment to living independently (with or without children) and having permanently ended contact with the abuser.
What We Offer
Safe and affordable temporary accommodation, up to 18 months.
We collaborate with your case worker to ensure you have the support you need:
to develop a personalised tenancy plan to achieve your housing goals, and
to secure longer-term housing options, whether in community housing or the private rental market.
